What's in a Flake Floor

  • Polyaspartic topcoat: the clear wear layer that stands up to sunlight and abrasion.
  • Full broadcast flake: decorative vinyl chips in a multi-color pattern that hides dirt.
  • Epoxy base coat: a high-build base that bonds to the prepped concrete and holds the flake.
  • All of it goes over diamond-ground concrete.

Pricing & Warranty

What a Garage Floor Costs

Most two-car garages range from about $2,300 to $3,200. Final pricing depends on square footage, slab condition, and travel distance. Larger garages and removing an old coating cost more.

Basements and finished interiors are typically priced higher than a standard garage flake floor.

What affects the price

5-Year Residential Workmanship Warranty

Residential flake floor installations carry our 5-Year Residential Workmanship Warranty. If the coating peels or delaminates due to our installation, we will repair it at no charge.

  • Commercial work: standard 1-year warranty.
  • Metallic and overlay floors: ask us about terms.

What's not covered:

This is our workmanship promise, not a manufacturer warranty. It does not cover hot-tire pickup from soft aftermarket tires, impact or heavy point-load damage, abuse or harsh cleaning chemicals, slab moisture or movement we flagged in writing, or anything altered after install.

Columbia Garage Floor Questions

How much does an epoxy garage floor cost in Columbia?

Most two-car garages range from about $2,300 to $3,200. Final pricing depends on square footage, slab condition, and travel distance. Larger garages and removing an old coating cost more, and the estimate is free.

Do you have an office in Columbia?

How long does installation take, and when can I park in the garage?

Most garage installations take 2 days. The floor is ready for foot traffic the next day and vehicle traffic after 3 days. We install indoors year-round, so a garage floor can be scheduled in any season.

Can you replace a peeling or failed epoxy floor?

Yes. Diamond grinding or shot blasting removes the old coating and the weak top layer of concrete so the new floor can bond, and we fill cracks and fix damaged sections before anything gets coated. Removing an old coating adds to the cost, so we look at the existing floor during your free estimate.

Epoxy or polyaspartic: which is better for a Columbia garage?

Our Flake Floor System uses both: an epoxy base coat that builds thickness and holds the flake, and a polyaspartic topcoat that stands up to sunlight and wear. All of it goes over diamond-ground concrete.

Do you resurface patios in Columbia?

Yes. We install decorative concrete overlays on patios, including tile-pattern overlays finished with a high-gloss sealer. Ask us about warranty terms for overlay floors.

Do you do commercial floors in Columbia?

Yes. We install flake, quartz, metallic, urethane cement, and polished or sealed concrete for offices, restaurants, commercial kitchens, schools, churches, shops and warehouses. We can remove old tile, VCT, carpet or coatings first. In July 2026 we polished the concrete for a commercial project in Columbia.
